Promoting the tourism in Central America
Central America is one of the places with the largest number of tourists in the world, due to its beautiful beaches, its culture, gastronomy, music, tourist attractions and an extremely plentiful climate.
In recent years, attempts have been made to make the tourist activities of Central America an ecotourism experience, this is because companies today seek to preserve the environment and the species that inhabit it.
In this unit my colleagues and I create our own ecotourism companies for central america, in them we try to create hotels, activities and many more things that attract tourism, but at the same time take care of our planet, then you can see them:
Eco Visit is an ecotourism and travel agency based in Puerto Rico. Their goal is to show the world the beauty of their lovely Island while taking care of its environment and our people.
This is the blog of the company Barbados Eco Resort, it is a hotel that uses bio-renewable energy and has an ecopark.
Impacts
With the region's tourism industries heavily reliant on North America, any US economic downturn would be very damaging.
Costa Rica's efforts to open up its eastern coast could provide a major new regional hub for resort tourism.
A stronger dollar could encourage US tourism in countries, such as Guatemala and Nicaragua, whose currencies are not pegged to the dollar.
